Dr Sanjiv Jasuja is Pioneer kidney transplant physician in India working in this field for last 32 years. He is the first Indian Nephrologist involved in "Combined Kidney and Liver transplant In India" in year 1998. He is the first North Indian Nephrologist to do ABO incompatible transplant (Transplant without Blood group Matching) in Feb 2012. He provides transplant selection, follow-ups comprehensive management planning.
Dr Sanjiv Jasuja has 3 decades experience of hemodialysis. He innovated portable dialysis prototype in 1996 - This equipment is widely used particularly in ICUs across the country. For this he was awarded "Siemens GAPIO Awards in Medical Innovation" in Dec 2018.
This is unique modality of dialysis that can be practiced at Home by patients. Dr Jasuja has been practicing this since 1994. This is particularly good for remote location patients and patients with significant heart disease. Right patient selection is key to the success of CAPD.
